ABOUT THE ARTIST

From Toronto’s legendary ’90s club scene to international stages, I Mother Earth has pushed musical boundaries with their signature blend of heavy riffs, soaring melodies, driving percussion, and psychedelic rock. The band’s first two albums, Dig and Scenery and Fish, achieved Platinum and Triple Platinum status respectively and delivered a string of Canadian rock classics, including “One More Astronaut,” “Another Sunday,” “Rain Will Fall,” “Used to Be Alright,” and “So Gently We Go.”

Founded by brothers Christian and Jag Tanna, I Mother Earth burst onto the Toronto music scene in the early ’90s, signing a landmark deal with Capitol Records USA after just 10 shows. After years of touring, lineup changes, chart-topping releases, and an eight-year hiatus, the band reunited with original vocalist Edwin in 2016 for a tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of Scenery and Fish.

The reunion proved that the chemistry was still there. I Mother Earth have been rocking stages together ever since, delivering the classic hits and extended jams that have made them one of Canada’s most beloved live rock acts.
