Back by popular demand, one of Ontario’s most celebrated live music experiences returns to the Huntsville Festival of the Arts and the historic Algonquin Theatre. This all-star cast of award-winning Canadian blues and roots musicians, led by Juno-winning musical director Lance Anderson, brings audiences a powerful tribute marking the 50th anniversary of The Band’s iconic farewell concert, The Last Waltz.
For over 16 years, this acclaimed production has captivated audiences at major festivals and sold-out theatres across the country. Featuring Jerome Levon Avis on drums and vocals, alongside a stellar nine-piece band and special guests, the performance recreates the spirit and energy of that legendary 1976 night.
Blending storytelling, history, and unforgettable music, the show honours The Band’s enduring influence on Canadian culture. Audiences will experience beloved classics like “The Weight,” “Up on Cripple Creek,” and more, alongside songs made famous by The Band’s legendary collaborators.
