Alan Cross is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker.
In his 40+ years in the broadcasting and music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock and is also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music. He’s currently providing content consulting for 102.1 the Edge and Q107 in Toronto.
Outside of radio, Alan’s resume includes five books, hundreds of public speaking engagements, and a national music column for Global News. He’s also constantly engaged in voiceover work, researching, writing, and consulting for commercials, TV, movies, documentaries, and corporate videos.
Another major project was The Science of Rock’n’Roll, a travelling museum exhibit that toured science centres across North America.
Alan is the host of the true crime podcast Uncharted: Crime and Mayhem in the Music Industry. He also attends music conferences and lectures at schools and events all over the world.
